MISSION STATEMENT

We, the members of the Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group, dedicate ourselves to serve the citizens of Kankakee County and the state of Illinois, and endeavor to treat all people in a fair and impartial manner.

We commit ourselves toward improving the quality of life in the communities we serve through a concentrated effort of enforcement of all laws related to illegal drugs, unlawful weapons offenses and street gang crimes.

We will work with other law enforcement agencies, educational organizations, the business community and other interested groups to educate and train them on the current trends and problems associated with drug abuse or gang problems.

We hold ourselves to the highest standards of conduct and ethics.  We regard our members as the most important asset of our organization and encourage personal development through training and education.
